DESCRIPTION:Join Lisa Swisher for Level 1 Reiki Activation & Certification on Saturday\, June 27th\, from 10:00 am- 4:00 pm at Hawthorn Healing Arts Center. \n> Learn more and sign up at COCC \nReiki Level 1\nReiki is a hands-on healing technique that promotes relaxation\, balance\, and well-being using the life-force energy called Ki (chi). A Reiki treatment feels like a wonderful glowing radiance that flows in and around you. Scientific studies have validated that Reiki treatments can shorten recovery times after surgeries and injuries\, lower resting heart rate and blood pressure\, and impart feelings of peace and calm. It is rising in popularity and is now included in many hospitals. Reiki is a simple\, natural and safe method of healing and self-improvement that everyone can learn and use! In this class\, learn about the history of Reiki\, how to use it to promote healing for yourself and others\, and practice giving and receiving Reiki. Students will receive a beautiful Reiki Level 1 manual and a personalized Reiki First Degree Certificate of Completion. This class qualifies for 5 Continuing Education hands-on contact hours for Oregon LMTs. Please wear loose comfortable clothing and bring a journal\, a water bottle\, a light lunch\, and a curious mind! Healthy snacks and tea are provided. \nPlease email any questions directly to Lisa at lisacswisher@gmail.com \nAbout Lisa \nLisa Swisher has a BS in Kinesiological Sciences and over 25 years of experience as a Massage Therapist and Reiki Master Teacher. She was first introduced to Reiki in 1986\, and this began her lifelong fascination in and study of the human energy field\, energy healing and the chakra system. She has been teaching Reiki since 1986 and is also an avid meditator with a strong focus on internal energy flow through the chakra system. She practices chi kung and yoga regularly. Recently she has fallen in love with crystal singing bowls and plays them in her weekly Sonic Reiki Sound baths.
