Dharma Acharya Mary OrtonThe Dzogchen Buddha Path of Central Oregon Group meets the first and third Sundays at Hawthorn Healing Arts Center from 4 to 6 p.m. to practice The Buddha Path and learn about Buddhism together.

This friendly, informal group is offered for learning about Tibetan (Dzogchen) Buddhism and is led by Dharma teacher, Dharma Acharya Mary Orton. The group follows “The Buddha Path,” a meditation book written by His Eminence Dzogchen Khenpo Choga Rinpoche. The book offers practical guidance for increasing our happiness, joy, and peace right now, as well as a path to true enlightenment. Sessions are open to everyone with no previous training required.

There is no charge; attendees have the opportunity to make a donation to support the group if they wish.

Feel free to dress in shoes that can be removed easily and comfortable, loose-fitting clothing. Bring your cushion if you’d like; there will be cushions and chairs available. You might want to bring something to take notes with. These friendly and informal gatherings are open to everyone, with no previous training required. There is no charge; you will have the opportunity to make a donation to support our local Central Oregon Dharma Center, if you wish.
