Hawthorn Healing Arts is happy to welcome chiropractor and licensed massage therapist Jesse Slater, D.C., LMT, to our growing community of integrative providers.

Hawthorn Healing Arts Center is welcoming a new practitioner this spring, and the community is invited to stop by, meet him, and learn more about a hands-on approach to chiropractic care that blends joint adjustments with targeted muscle work.

Jesse Slater, D.C., LMT, is both a licensed chiropractor and massage therapist, bringing a unique perspective to musculoskeletal care. His work focuses not only on spinal adjustments, but also on the muscles and connective tissues that influence movement, posture, and everyday comfort.

To introduce Jesse and his practice, Hawthorn will host an Open House on Friday, March 27 from 6–8pm. The evening will offer a relaxed opportunity to meet the doctor, ask questions about chiropractic care, and learn how his integrated approach may help with common issues such as back pain, neck tension, headaches, and restricted mobility.

The event will include hors d’oeuvres, drinks, and door prizes for items including free chiropractic exams and musculoskeletal support supplements. A raffle drawing will take place at 7:30pm, and as a special opportunity for attendees, appointments for discounted initial visits will be scheduled during the evening.

About Jesse

Jesse’s path into chiropractic care began with massage therapy. After earning his Associate’s Degree in Massage Therapy in 2016, he spent several years working with soft tissue techniques before pursuing his Doctor of Chiropractic degree, which he completed in 2021. Today, his work integrates diversified chiropractic adjustments, extremity work, mobilization techniques, drop-table methods, and extensive soft tissue therapy to address both muscular and joint contributors to pain.

Originally from the Sierra Nevada mountains of California, Jesse maintains a strong connection to an active, outdoor lifestyle. He enjoys skiing, cooking, and exploring the outdoors with his fiancé and their dog—interests that continue to shape his philosophy of helping people stay active and mobile.

The open house offers a casual way to meet Jesse, learn more about chiropractic care, and explore whether his approach might be helpful for addressing everyday aches, pains, or movement restrictions.
