Kunzang Lama will teach on “Happiness is In Your Grasp: How timeless Buddhist teachings can help you be happy in this busy modern world.”
 
Lama is an inspiring and compassionate teacher and monk with the Dzogchen Longchen Nyingthig Lineage of Mahayana Buddhism. He is under the guidance of His Eminence Dzogchen Khenpo Choga Rinpoche. Kunzang Lama is recognized for his clear and direct teaching style with an emphasis on making the Dharma accessible and practical for modern students. His compassion for his students shines through every moment of his teachings. He has dedicated his life to preserving and propagating the authentic teachings of the Buddha for the benefit of all beings.
The retreat will be held at the Hawthorn Healing Arts Center39 NW Louisiana Avenue in downtown Bend (just south of and across Louisiana from McMenamins). Retreat dates and times are as follows:
   Friday, January 19, 6:30pm to 8:30 pm
   Saturday, January 20, 9:00 am to 6:00 pm
   Sunday, January 21, 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm
The Friday night session is open to all. After that, the teachings build from one day to the next. Therefore, after Friday, we ask that you plan to attend all the weekend sessions, and no drop-ins, please.
The suggested donation for the full weekend is $125. If you attend Friday night only, you are invited to make a donation in the amount of your choosing. No one will be turned away for lack of funds!
