Free Qigong Introduction and Experience 

This Qigong class will be an introduction to the Ling Gui style of qigong practice. We will cover all 4 aspects of qigong practice, movement meditation, imagery exercises, breath-work, and sitting meditation.

There will be a short lecture and Q&A in this class session. Our Main Focus will be on the Form of QiGong known as XIXIHU. This is Walking Qigong. It incorporates all of the organ systems, and coordinates the breath specific to each organ system with the walking steps specific to those same organ systems. There is a profound amount of research on this particular form of Qigong in China, and it has become so popular, that there is actually a whole day of celebration for this one form. That’s a big deal, considering that there are over 70,000 forms of qigong across China. This form is often used in hospitals in China to address problems of chronic infection, cancer, or progressive degenerative illness. One of the things I love most about this form is that people practice it in large groups, everyone mixed together. The healthy are practicing with the sick, the young with the old, the advanced qigong practitioner and the absolutely new to qigong. It is a beautiful and simple form that anyone can pick up in just a matter of minutes. And, you will feel amazing throughout your whole self (mind, body, emotion, spirit) at the end of this timeless practice!
